Through Heifer International, each year the Festival of Sharing features an international project and a project in the United States.\u00c2\u00a0 This year’s US project is a gardening project designed to enable people in poverty to grow some of their own food and even be able to sell some for added income.\u00c2\u00a0 It is a program designed to build self-reliance.\u00c2\u00a0 It is a hand up rather than a hand out.\u00c2\u00a0 For more information contact Carol Oliver at the Festival of Sharing office at 573-474-3332 or email her at oliver@umocm.com<\/p>\n
