Youth from Beloved Community UMC, Normandy UMC, North Park UMC and Prince of Peace UMC attended the Harambee Youth Rally, held on the campus of Philander Smith College, in Little Rock, Arkansas.\u00c2\u00a0 Harambee actually means \u00e2\u20ac\u0153all pull together\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in Swahali.\u00c2\u00a0 Harambee is held every two years primarily for United Methodist African American youth.<\/p>\n

In this MissionCast Courtney and Brittany Hunter from North Park United Methodist Church and Lauren Jackson from Normandy United Methodist Church shared some of their experiences at the 2011 Harambee.<\/p>\n
