It is the longest continuous running campmeeting west of the Mississippi.  It started in 1943.  This year celebrates the 170 anniversary of its continuing outreach to the community.  It is registered as United Methodist Historic Site #276.  The campground is located on 20 acres situated 15 miles SE of Sedalia, Missouri.
