329. Mozabique Partners – King’s Way UMC

King’s Way United Methodist Church, like many of our Missouri churches, has a covenant partner church in Mozambique. A team from the congregation recently visited their partner congregation in Macate. Co-team leaders Scott Giffen and Susie Cummings share a bit about their experience. In her sermon, Rev. Yvi Martin referred to their friends in Mozambique a part of their worldwide family. 322. Moatize UMC, Mozambique – Memorial UMC, Farmington Partners

The Memorial United Methodist Church in Farmington sent a mission team (Nancy Lynch, Edna Russell, Karen Young and Barbara Viitanen) to Mozambique to meet their part congregation, pastor and seminary student. Their partner congregation use to worship under a shade shelter or shade chapel. With the financial support of Memorial UMC they now have a permanent church building which was dedicated upon their arrival during a grand celebration. 307. MissionCasts – Mozambique Mission Ambassadors

Our Missouri Conference Mozambique Mission Ambassadors are trained and ready to come to your church to share their excitement and knowledge about our Mozambique-Missouri covenant relationship. Each of them has been to Mozambique. Some have been to Mozambique multiple times. In this MissionCast Sarah Bollinger, our Mozambique Initiative Coordinator, shares from her personal experience about the energy and excitement generated when an ambassador tells of their experiences with the people and congregations of Mozambique. 299. Pure Water for Mozambique – The Gathering UMC

The Gathering United Methodist Church each year gives ½ of their Christmas offering to the Mozambique Initiative Safe Water Project. This year they are urging members of their congregation to spend less and give more. Together with other churches in Missouri 21 wells have been drilled in the past 3 years. We are thankful to the Gathering United Methodist Church for this dynamic video they prepared to promote safe water in Mozambique. You and your congregation may give to this project by sending a part of your Christmas offering or an offering later in the year to the Missouri Conference, 3601 Amron Court, Columbia, MO 65202. Designate your gift for the Mozambique Imitative, Safe Water Project.
