361. Bartelsmeyers Become Costa Rica Missionaries

HaitiJoe and Martha Bartelsmeyers, members of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, have committed their next year or two to serving as Short Term United Methodist Missionaries at the Latin American Biblical Seminary in San Jose, Costa Rica. They will be working with Volunteers in Mission teams that will be building a new dormitory on campus. Over 25 teams from Missouri, including a cabinet team with Bishop Sherer, helped to build the buildings on the new campus originally and helped with organizing the books in the library. The Latin American Biblical Seminary is a beautiful place to serve. Student from all over Central and South American receive their degrees at this international seminary.
We wish Joe and Martha the best as they fly to Costa Rica, Tuesday, May 13, 2014. To organize a team to work with them in Costa Rica contact the Office of Creative Ministries. Phone 573-474-7155 / Email: info@umocm.com
