To help their community go back to school the Clever United Methodist Church, near Springfield, each year sponsors a “Back to School†event where families can come to the church and pick out clothing and school supplies for their children for free. Donations come from church members and community churches. You may contact the Clever UMC for help starting this kind of back to school outreach ministry in your community. The church phone number is 417-942-7098.
