201. MissionCast – Olivewood Ministry – Enter 2011 Fair Trade Contest

Laura Ann and Fred Zahn support Christian ministries and artisans in Palestine through their Olivewood Ministry and you can as well.  They started the ministry after serving for a year at the Bethlehem Bible College.  In this MissionCast Fred Zahn relates the whys, hows and rewards of their ministry and how your congregation might become involved.  Besides inviting them to set up shop at a craft festival in your community you can order an olivewood market kit and raise money for your local church as well as support Christians in Palistine. Rev. Fred Zahn is a retired clergy member of the Missouri Conference.

No money is required up front.  Your church group keeps 25% of the total sales.  For example, if your total sales were $2000, your church would keep 25%, ($500).  All shipping and other expenses are already included in the price of each item sold.
