345. MissionCast – Hallelujah Chorus – Missouri UMC

Haiti

Each year during Advent Missouri United Methodist Church, in Columbia, prepares a worship service full of music to share with the Columbia community and their church members. Traditionally the service ends with the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Our MissionCast this week’s shares with you the concluding two minutes of the Hallelujah Chorus. Missouri United Methodist Church received its name from the fact that every congregation in Missouri collected nickels and dimes to build this beautiful church to have a significant presence on the campus of the University of Missouri. The church itself is an expression of mission outreach on the part of every congregation in Missouri.
