This year Heifer International celebrates 70 years of alleviating hunger around the world. The 70th anniversary video produced by Heifer International tells about the origins and philosophy of Heifer International. Carol Oliver (New Horizons UMC) and Cleo Kottwitz (Missouri UMC) are coordinating a Mission Study Tour to the Heifer International Ranch and Headquarters in Arkansas, October 3-5, 2014. This tour is a part of the 70th Anniversary celebrations. The group will leave at 1:30 pm from the New Horizons UMC, in Columbia and will return at 5:30pm on Sunday. Register by September 12th.
